Last screenshot was taken before config file update. See below screenshot after new firmware update which I think shows the changes from the z config file. I dont have a multimeter/voltage measuring device so I can't directly test any connections. EDIT: and there was no change and still no detection...

Also will this void my warranty? If there is no way of fixing this without taking it apart I will probably return it.
