Re: Gunfighter MCG Pro Mk. III annual maintenance?
Okay, thank you, I may do this in the next week or so. If I have questions, I know where I can come to get them answered. The video is very useful as guide through the major parts of the unit. I'll check to make sure everything is reasonably tight and the cams are operating smoothly. Should the ball...

Gunfighter MCG Pro Mk. III annual maintenance?
Hi, I own a gun fighter Mark three MCG pro. I purchased it in 2020, and it has served me well without issues for the last two years. Currently, there are absolutely no problems with this device. I use it one or two times a week for a couple of hours each session. However, I’ve seen comments that wou...

Re: Setting deadzone and curves
Very cool. I think the latter option is the way I might eventually go once I've dialed in what's comfortable. Doing so should afford me the latitude to test different curves out until I find what works me. Thanks Fallout9.

Re: Make MCG Pro Grip Button a "shift" or "Mode" button?
Hi Victorus, Yes, Ron61 shows this same procedure in his video. I appreciate you posting screenshots because I don't know if Ron61 will leave the video up. I'm bookmarking this thread in case I ever need to refer to it again. Thanks so much! The procedure works and really opens up the possibilities....

Eureka! Now that is awesome! Really opens up the possibilities for me with the Configurator! Thanks so much Victorus and Ron61.

Re: Make MCG Pro Grip Button a "shift" or "Mode" button?
Hi Victorus,
My diagram spells out what I'm trying to achieve, a second mode in which I can program all the buttons on the stick with different keyboard binding. The problem I'm having is displayed in the short video I've linked.

Re: Setting deadzone and curves
Thanks hon0. Yes the configurator is so robust, it's crazy. It will take me quite a long time to learn how to use it and realize it's full potential. I'm going to keep reading the forums for ideas and tips. In the meantime, using DCS curves will serve until I can develop a real sense as to how use t...

Setting deadzone and curves
Okay, so I believe this is a dumb question but perhaps someone will indulge me. Been skimming through the forums and it seems totally possible to just set my deadzone and curves in DCS rather than using the Configurator EQ response panel. Is this correct? I'd like to avoid using the EQ panel for the...

Re: Make MCG Pro Grip Button a "shift" or "Mode" button?
Hi Victorus, Alternating! I thought so but wasn't sure I completely understood what it was doing. Your procedure write-up worked for alternating back and forth between using input 5 (center physical button on lower-middle hat switch) as button 18 and keystroke R. Shift-H. However, the procedure does...

Make MCG Pro Grip Button a "shift" or "Mode" button?
Hi, I'm reading through the manual and trying to make use of my ringfinger or "grip" button on my MCG Pro. I thought it would be cool to make it a "mode" button. So normally when I press button 18, it presses take off trim button in the cockpit. I programmed this button directly ...

Re: VKB Device CFG NJoy 32 Bind Keystrokes and Program Microstick on Gunfighter Mk. III MCG Pro
HI Fallout9, Sorry about the questions. As I stated above, I've tried to do my own research and found the forums immensely helpful. It took the right keyword searches, but managed to find the answers I was looking for and I believe my stick is set up right now so that I can start to try it out. I ap...

Re: VKB Device CFG NJoy 32 Bind Keystrokes and Program Microstick on Gunfighter Mk. III MCG Pro
EDIT: Okay, I figured out how to program simple button with keystrokes. Took multiple readings of the manual and some related forum posts, but I got there. Found a post by you, Fallout9, that explains exactly how to do what I wanted! Thanks so much! http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?t=4330 Now ...

Re: VKB Device CFG NJoy 32 Bind Keystrokes and Program Microstick on Gunfighter Mk. III MCG Pro
Thanks for replying Fallout9, Yes I can see that this software is very powerful. I really just need a walkthrough on the basics, like how to setup a simple keystroke button bind to a button. That would probably help me a lot because the manual does not read very well and I’m having a lot of trouble ...

VKB Device CFG NJoy 32 Bind Keystrokes and Program Microstick on Gunfighter Mk. III MCG Pro
Hi, I've posted about this topic a few times now. My MCG Pro finally arrived the other day and I decided to set up today. Everything went well. However, as I predicted, I can't program all available input controls in Digital Combat Simulator (DCS) because DCS does not recognize inputs like the micro...

Re: VKB NJOY32 PRO software
Ok thanks guys. Sorry my delayed reply. I'm still waiting on my stick to arrive. Apparently a shipping delay. I will try to program directly in DCS first and see if that works. I'm sure it will. If I have problems, I can always try what you're suggesting, hon0, and program DX buttons. I don't recall...
