T-Rudder - change spring tension without removing cam?

Hi, I'm not great at mechanical things so I prefer to know exactly what I'm doing before I start. I've watched VKB's change cam & spring tension video and it seems simple enough process. I only want to change the spring tension post to high. Is it necessary or recommended to remove the cam to re...

This is not the final base. They say this is just a development piece used for testing and hide a few secrets.

Re: VKB TECS: MODULARITY FULL AHEAD

No preorder, but there will be plenty of product on shelves. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please stick to the subject guys, we're talking TECS here :) I think preorder management is a lot of work for a small company, so I can understand you not running...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)

I'm still hopeful of release by the lunar new year as mentioned a few months ago. I'm sure it has taken longer than VKB had planned but not everything goes to plan. Product development announcements are a double edged sword. They generate hype and interest in the future product, but it makes the use...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)

updated product photos Honestly we're itching to do so - but nope. Things changed in the world. There are companies (and their names are known) who are always happy to steal others' designs. I do appreciate your interest, but please understand... I totally understand. Thanks for the update. My thro...

Re: Unveiling the VKB TECS Throttle Control System (In Development)

VKB throttle will be released before the end of this lunar year. Unless the virus brings a new lockout, which remains possible. Thanks Aerogator. Maybe move to New Zealand to avoid the virus. :) Can you share updated product photos to help us get through to February 2021? That's ok if it's not the ...

Re: POV2 Tempo in DCS

Hi Fallout9,

When I made my screen shots I realised I have mixed up the POV1 & POV2 settings. Once I fixed that it is working correctly. Sorry to waste your time, I thought I had checked everything before I posted.

Regards,

Matt

POV2 Tempo in DCS

Hi, I've followed fallout9's instructions (link below) on setting POV2 to switch between an 8-way hat and a microstick. It works well in the Joystick tester and in DCS control setup. But in game (F-18) it appears both are functioning at the same time. In DCS I've set the ministick to control the TDC...

Re: Shift0,1,2 modifier

nneeee, Thanks. Your explanation was excellent. I've struggled with the manuals and have found the best way to get the most out of the software is to follow other (smarter) peoples Q&A here on the forum. I'm not sure how I could use the shift feature in DCS (my primary game), but I now have a cl...

Re: Can Virtual Axes Scales be changed with VKB Software?

Thanks Han0 & Victorus, That helped me a lot. My mistake was that I was using FA2 in the FA Type setting. I didn't even notice the DR. :? This has helped my understanding. Also thanks for the tip on the DR time, I don't fly helicopters and assumed I would be switching when straight & level. ...

Re: Can Virtual Axes Scales be changed with VKB Software?

Will take some screenshot if needed, just let us know. Hi hon0, I'm new to VKB and terrible at understanding & configuring all software. Once I see an example my understanding improves. If you could please send some screen shots that would be great. I can see the DR function in the global tab. ...

Re: Adding GF MCG Pro MkIII to T-rudder MkIv

Thank you, I had assumed that I would see the rudder pedals in the connected devices at the top of the VKBDevCfg program as I had seen in many demonstrations and tutorial videos. So everything is working how it should. I will work through the post you linked and hopefully i can get the virtual top b...

Re: Adding GF MCG Pro MkIII to T-rudder MkIv

Ron61,

Thank you for the quick reply. Attached is the screenshot. As I mentioned in my original post, the rudders are working but not visible in the connected devices or in T-link, which I assume means it can't be set to virtual toe brakes. Screen shot with ALT+F11.
