Re: STECS Upgrade Requirements
Just got an authentic VKB cable. I plugged it in, reset configuration to default and allowed automatic reconfiguration when prompted. I then recalibrated the throttle as prompted. Thought I got it right but when I button testing them all, the STEM is not recognized although the STECS and ATEM are. A...

Re: STECS Upgrade Requirements
Got it. So, I am arranging to get the proper cable. In advance of that, can you direct me to the default and autoconfig operation locations? I cannot seem to find the settings in the VKBDevConf software... Is there some other software to use for this purpose? Thanks again.

Re: STECS Upgrade Requirements
Thanks for the reply. I didn't order a USB-C cable with VKB so got one from Amazon. Attached the throttle to the STEM Module with the cable, recalibrated the device. Testing with the Button Tester the throttle and ATM work fine, but not the STEM. Did I miss something? Thanks again.

STECS Upgrade question
This is a duplicate post since I realized this may be a better place to ask. My order is in my VKB shopping cart, but before finalizing it I want to make sure this is correct. I want to upgrade my STECS Standard to STECS Max. Wondering if I can confirm these are the necessary parts: - STECS ATEM (Au...

Re: Help programming VKB Gladiator NTX button for continuous depress
Thanks for the suggestions. I like the auto-repeat feature, but hesitate to get into yet another configuration app. With all of them (Joy2key, vjoy, joystick gremlin, etc.) I wonder if they play well together when more than one is used on a single device. If VKB has no software solution, looks like ...

Re: Help programming VKB Gladiator NTX button for continuous depress
I am using the DCS P-51, F-86, and F-18 modules primarily. I want to be able to rotate dials with a button on my stick (essentially emulating a mouse wheel but with buttons). In the DCS "UI Layer" I presently control the left/right mouse buttons with a GNTX stick button left and right, and...

Re: Help programming VKB Gladiator NTX button for continuous depress
Thanks for the reply. I hope these screenshots are sufficient. VKB Button Tester shows it is correct. A DCS issue? Any other tweaks in VKB config?

Help programming VKB Gladiator NTX button for continuous depress
Hi all. Wondering if a VKBDevCfg knowledgeable person can tell me how to program a button to stay depressed until pressed again? I want to use GNTX buttons to control the mouse wheel to rotate dials in DCS. I want to press the button once for the dial to start rotating continuously, then press again...

Re: Can I use the GNTX z-axis for P-51 Target Ranging?
Thanks so much for the response. I apologize but I am fairly new at using the config tool. Could I ask for some additional details? My first challenge is to find the z-axis and not to screw up the X and Y axes! I see the axes are numbered 1-8 and I see the pulldown menu to change from "abs"...

Can I use the GNTX z-axis for P-51 Target Ranging?
Hi: I am using a Gladiator NTX in DCS World flying the P-51. Because I have pedals, I want to use the z-axis of my GNTX to adjust target range (like the real thing). I tried it as an axis setting in DCS but the recentering of the stick caused immediate recentering of the range dial. Is there a way t...

Programming a button as mouse wheel on GNXT
Hi All: I am trying to make a button on my Gladiator NXT be a substitute for the mouse wheel (up button = mouse wheel up, and down button = mouse wheel down) in DCS. I have looked at the config software and checked the manual. First, I assigned the buttons for mouse wheel control within DCS (in UI s...
